Some links on iWakaru Japan go to travel providers such as booking, tour, rail, eSIM and insurance companies. Where a partner programme is set up, iWakaru Japan may earn a commission when you use one of those links. You never pay more because of it.
Not every link earns a commission
Many provider links on the site are plain links to the provider's own website with no commission attached, because a partner programme has not been set up for that provider. A link only earns a commission when a real partner arrangement is configured behind it.
What we never do
We do not claim a commission, partnership or endorsement where none exists, and we do not present iWakaru Japan as the company providing the hotel, tour, ticket, transport or insurance. The provider is always named on the button.
How recommendations are chosen
Places, events and experiences are added to iWakaru Japan on their own merit as travel information. A provider link is attached to an existing record; a record is never created because a provider offers something.
Booking with a provider
When you follow a provider link you leave iWakaru Japan and the provider's own terms, prices, availability and privacy policy apply. iWakaru Japan does not take your booking and cannot guarantee a provider's price, availability or reservation.
