iWakaru Japan is a digital travel-information product. These terms explain what you are buying, how access works, and the limits of the information we provide. By using the site you accept them.
What you are buying
iWakaru Japan sells digital access to travel information, guides, itineraries, educational content and planning tools. Nothing physical is shipped and no travel, accommodation, transport, tickets or reservations are sold by iWakaru Japan.

- There is no subscription and no recurring charge
Access and entitlement
Access is granted only after the payment provider confirms your payment to our servers. A checkout page, a browser redirect or a success screen alone never grants access.
Access is tied to the account that made the purchase. Each purchase grants the tier that was bought and nothing more. Accounts are personal; do not share your access with others.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account email and credentials secure and for everything done through your account. Tell support immediately if you believe someone else has access to it.
Refunds
All iWakaru Japan digital products are non-refundable. The only exception is confirmed duplicate billing for the same purchase, which is reviewed manually after you send support your order information and screenshots of the duplicate charges. If duplicate billing is confirmed, only the duplicated charge is refunded and your access to the product you legitimately bought is kept.
Acceptable use
You may use iWakaru Japan content for your own travel planning. You may not resell, republish, redistribute, scrape or bulk-copy the content, share your access, or use the site to break the law or to harm the service or other users.
Content and ownership
The text, guides, itineraries, photography and other material on iWakaru Japan belong to iWakaru Japan or to the rights holders credited alongside them, and are used under the licences recorded for each item. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their owners; their appearance on the site does not mean they endorse or are affiliated with iWakaru Japan.
Travel information is guidance, not a guarantee
Japan changes constantly. Events, dates, opening hours, prices, transport schedules, routes, closures and availability are provided as guidance based on the information in our records at the time of writing.
Always check anything critical with the official operator, venue, transport company or booking provider before you travel or commit money. iWakaru Japan cannot guarantee that a third party will honour any price, schedule, availability or reservation, and is not responsible for a third party's decisions, cancellations or changes.
AI planning assistance
The AI planner is an assistance feature. It builds suggestions from the structured records in our database and from what you tell it. It does not book anything, does not check live availability or live prices, and cannot guarantee that an event, opening time or service will happen as described. Treat its output as a draft to verify, not as a confirmation.
Third-party services and links
The site links to and embeds services operated by other companies — the payment provider, map providers, video providers and travel providers among them. iWakaru Japan does not own or control those services, and their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them. Some links to travel providers may earn iWakaru Japan a commission; see the affiliate disclosure.
Availability
The site is provided as it is, and it may be unavailable, incomplete or interrupted at times, including while features are still being built. Content is added and corrected over time.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, iWakaru Japan is not liable for losses arising from travel decisions made using the information on the site, from third-party providers, or from the site being unavailable. Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law that cannot be removed by agreement.

iWakaru Japan is operated by its owner. Company registration details and a governing jurisdiction are not published here because they have not been finalised; contact support for any legal enquiry.
